Holy Karp! User Interface!!

So I’d been working on importing libRocket into CryEngine 3 for a while now. Quite unsuccessfully, mind you. Turns out I was wasting my time anyway!

Crytek just released a new version of the FreeSDK. And it has…. Scaleform! I can hardly believe it. The engine had been nearly crippled without UI. I couldn’t imagine trying to script together new GameRules without them. (And just in case my past assets hadn’t been a clear giveaway, I’m a programmer first and an artist second.)

So where does this put me? Back a ways, I need to integrate the old assets with the new version of the Engine. Oh, right, and working on my OTHER secret project, which will probably be finished soon. (It was far less ambitious than “Tophat“.)
